U16

Non-competitive club for players born 2011–2013, one training session a week.

Who is the team for?

In the 2026/2027 school year, the team is for boys and girls born between 2011 and 2013.

The team doesn't take part in leagues and offers one training session a week. Players can develop their football skills, improve their movement abilities, and enjoy the sport in a friendly group.

When and where does training take place? What gear do I need?

Training takes place every Monday from 6:00–7:30 PM during the school year, except for public holidays and school breaks. The first session will be on September 7, 2025.

Training takes place year-round at the Sportovní areál TJ Bohemians Praha – Slovenská pitch, Slovenská 2205/2, Vinohrady, 101 00 Praha 10.

Studded football boots aren't allowed on the pitch. Turf shoes are the most suitable footwear.

This team doesn't take part in any league and only plays occasional friendly matches arranged in advance. For players born between 2010 and 2013, though, we do offer the option of a second weekly training session and competitive league matches against other Prague clubs in our competitive U15, U17, and U19 teams. It's a great option, and we'd encourage everyone to at least give it a try.

What does training involve?

We spend part of training developing football skills suited to the players' age and experience. We focus mainly on ball control, coordination, technique, and basic game principles. We also gradually build cooperation between players and their ability to read different game situations.

A significant part of training is actual play. Through smaller and larger football games, players get to try out new skills in practice, gain game experience, and above all enjoy football in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

As a Christian football club, we want to develop not just the physical (football) side of our players, but the spiritual side too. That's why training also includes a short reflection from the coaches. We always aim to explain the idea in a way that's clear for the children's age and mindful that they come from different backgrounds. We share biblical truths applied to life, drawing on the Bible, other stories, and our own experience. The reflection is always open to parents. In some teams, training also includes a short prayer.

How much does it cost?

We charge players a total of 2,600 CZK per half-season toward pitch rental. We reserve the right to raise the price for the second half of the season if rental costs increase.

Payment for the 1st half of the season is due by July 31, 2026. Payment for the 2nd half is due by January 31, 2027.

Payments are always assigned to players in the club's KIS app, where they're also given the relevant variable symbols.

How do I register?

Registration for the 2026/27 season will run:

  • for existing players from Monday, June 8 — watch for an email
  • for new players from Monday, June 22 at 11:30 AM — via a Google Form

This team tends to fill up quickly, so we can't guarantee a spot to everyone who signs up. We'll let you know whether you've been accepted or placed on the waiting list.
