U11
Competitive team for players born 2016–2018; playing matches is optional.
Who is the team for?
Starting this 2026/27 season, we're new to competitive play in this age category too. Taking part in matches isn't a condition of team membership, though — children can attend training only, or take part in matches as their situation allows.
In the 2026/2027 school year, the team is for boys and girls born between 2016 and 2018. Exceptions will be considered individually.
There's a place on the team for everyone, regardless of current ability or previous football experience. We understand that attending every weekend match isn't possible for many families, so regular match attendance isn't required.
Our goal is to build a large squad where children rotate across matches and everyone gets a chance to play. If fewer players are available for a given match, we'll also reach out to players who didn't primarily sign up for matches.
When and where does training take place?
In the 2026/27 season, U11 will train up to twice a week (i.e. once or twice).
Training will take place every Wednesday from 4:00–5:30 PM and every Friday from 4:15–5:45 PM. Both sessions will be at the Sportovní areál TJ Bohemians Praha – Slovenská pitch, Slovenská 2205/2, 101 00 Praha 10 – Vinohrady.
Training runs throughout the school year, except for public holidays and school breaks. The first session will be on September 2, 2026.
We reserve the right to change the training location due to operational issues (e.g. problems caused by facility operators). We reserve the right to cancel training in cases of force majeure, such as bad weather, illness among the coaching staff, and other circumstances beyond our control. If training isn't possible for an extended period, we'll refund a proportional part of the fees.
Studded football boots aren't allowed on the pitch. Turf shoes are the most suitable footwear.
When and where do matches take place?
The team takes part in matches in a league run by the Prague Football Association. Registered players follow the club's KIS app and the coaches' instructions.
What does training involve?
We spend about half of training time on football training. At this age it's still about developing individual technique, but the emphasis is mainly on shared team skills, where players learn to work together and play under pressure.
In the second half of training, players play football, where we emphasize carrying skills over from the training portion into actual play, both individually and as a team.
As a Christian football club, we want to develop not just the physical (football) side of our players, but the spiritual side too. That's why training also includes a short reflection from the coaches. We always aim to explain the idea in a way that's clear for the children's age and mindful that they come from different backgrounds. We share biblical truths applied to life, drawing on the Bible, other stories, and our own experience. The reflection is always open to parents. In some teams, training also includes a short prayer.
How much does it cost?
Membership fees cover the cost of the training process, mainly pitch and facility rental.
- 1 training session/week: 2,600 CZK / half-season
- 2 training sessions/week: 4,800 CZK / half-season
Taking part in competitive matches is voluntary and charged separately. The match fee covers costs related to organizing matches, league entry fees, pitch rental, referees, and other operating expenses.
- Regular match attendance during the half-season: +1,500 CZK / half-season
- Occasional attendance at a few matches during the half-season: +500 CZK / half-season
We reserve the right to raise the price for the second half of the season if rental costs increase.
Payment for the 1st half of the season is due by September 30, 2026. Payment for the 2nd half is due by January 31, 2027.
Payments are always assigned to players in the club's KIS app, where they're also given the relevant variable symbols.
If a player is unable to pay the membership fees, we may be able to help through our social fund. In that case, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at praha@ambassadors.cz
