U10
Non-competitive club for players born 2017–2018.
Who is the team for?
In the 2026/2027 school year, the team is for boys and girls born between 2017 and 2018. Exceptions will be considered individually, mainly depending on the capacity of this team and others.
In exceptional cases, after consulting with the coaches, a player may be recommended for a team other than the one matching their age. This could be due to differences in athletic development, playing level, or build.
Children develop very individually at this age, so we try to find each one an environment where they can develop as well as possible while still enjoying football. Any changes to team placement are always discussed individually with the player and their parents.
When and where does training take place?
From September–October and April–June, training takes place every Friday from 5:45–7:00 PM at the TJ Bohemians Praha – Slovenská pitch, Slovenská 2205/2, 101 00 Praha 10 – Vinohrady, and from November–March every Friday from 4:30–6:00 PM in the ZŠ Chelčického gym, Chelčického 2614/43, 130 00 Praha 3 – Žižkov.
The first training session will be on Friday, September 4, 2026. Training runs throughout the school year, except for public holidays and school breaks.
Studded football boots aren't allowed on the pitch. Turf shoes are the most suitable footwear.
This team doesn't take part in any league and only plays occasional friendly matches arranged in advance. If you know children born between 2008 and 2018 who'd like to play competitively, we'd love to point them toward league matches against other Prague clubs and the related training in our U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19 teams.
What does training involve?
We spend about half of training time teaching kids basic football and general sports skills (movement development, ball control, passing, teamwork, dribbling).
In the second half of training, children play football-based games or football itself, guided by the coaches. We try to keep them in smaller teams and groups so everyone can be as involved as possible.
As a Christian football club, we want to develop not just the physical (football) side of our players, but the spiritual side too. That's why training also includes a short reflection from the coaches. We always aim to explain the idea in a way that's clear for the children's age and mindful that they come from different backgrounds. We share biblical truths applied to life, drawing on the Bible, other stories, and our own experience. The reflection is always open to parents. In some teams, training also includes a short prayer.
How much does it cost?
We charge players a total of 2,600 CZK per half-season toward pitch rental. We reserve the right to raise the price for the second half of the season if rental costs increase.
Payment for the 1st half of the season is due by September 31, 2026 at the latest. Payment for the 2nd half is due by January 31, 2027 at the latest.
Payments are always assigned to players in the club's KIS app, where they're also given the relevant symbols.
