The first Christian football club in the Czech Republic is reshaping the football environment by sharing the gospel with 165 club players.

Ambassadors FC Praha football club works to transform the lives of individuals and society through a club program that includes sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and ongoing follow-up with players. About 70% of the club's members — now 165 in total — come from a non-Christian background and encounter the gospel for the first time at Ambassadors.

Club program

The program points to Jesus Christ as the one direct way for life. It teaches players the principles of fair play through Christian foundations they can apply both on the pitch and in real life. In the club they play football knowing that another player deserves the same respect they'd want for themselves. Players are taught that it isn't right to cheat or play dirty, but that it is healthy to compete the right way. In short, players are helped to become better footballers — and better people.

Fruit of three years of ministry

  1. Helped 9 players draw closer to Christ and become Christians.
  2. Grew to 165 club members and 14 coaches.
  3. Ran 750 training sessions and played 119 matches.
  4. The first team secured promotion to a higher league after two seasons in a row.
  5. One youth team started playing matches against other Prague clubs this 2019 season.
