Three from three

The A team has opened the 2026/27 season exactly as it set out to: three matches, three wins, 18–1 on goals and a full nine points. A look back at a strong start — and ahead to Sunday at Uhelné sklady.

When we wrote in August that we were going into the season with a clear goal, we knew the words would have to be backed up on the pitch. Three rounds in, we can say the start has gone exactly to plan. The A team has won all three matches, scoring eighteen goals and conceding just one. Nine points out of nine — it is hard to imagine a better opening to a season.

Round 1: FC International Praha 0–7 Ambassadors

We opened the season away on Sunday 6 September, on the artificial pitch in Chuchle. Opening matches can be treacherous — nerves, rust after the summer, an opponent you know little about. None of that showed in the result. Seven goals scored and a clean sheet: a calling card that lets you start a season with confidence.

Round 2: Ambassadors 8–0 TJ Sokol Písnice

A week later, on 13 September, we played our first home match of the season at Aritma — and the home debut went even better than the start on the road: eight goals, none conceded and a second clean sheet in a row. Thank you to everyone who came to cheer us on. You are the reason we want Aritma to be a place where points are not dropped.

Round 3: TJ Slovan Bohnice 1–3 Ambassadors

The third round brought the first real test. On Sunday 20 September we played away in Bohnice, and our hosts became the first team this season to score against us. This was not a match for a goal-fest; it was about whether we can win when it does not come easily. We can. The 3–1 win may be the most valuable of the three — because it is exactly that kind of match that decides promotion at the end of the season.

The numbers after three rounds

  • 3 matches, 3 wins, 9 points
  • goals 18–1 — an average of six scored per match
  • 2 clean sheets
  • away 10–1, home 8–0

The numbers look good, but in the dressing room we know that points from the first three rounds count exactly the same as those from the last. We have not won anything yet — we have just set ourselves up well.

What's next

This Sunday, 27 September at 16:30, we play away at SK Uhelné sklady Praha's ground on Fabiánova street. A week later, on Sunday 4 October at 10:00, we are back at Aritma to host SK Horní Měcholupy.

Come and support us — the full schedule is on the A team fixtures page.

For us, football is a means, not an end. But when a good result comes along with it, we won't pretend we're not pleased. Thank you to the players for their commitment, to the coaches for the preparation, and to everyone who supports us from the touchline. On we go.
